I have owned an H710, H720, and now H730 headset. The H710 was the first. It performed well, and was very compatible with my Moto RAZR v3. The sound quality was (at best) fair, and it ran out of power after prolonged use. It was lost in the in the snow while shoveling the driveway. I replaced it with another H710, bulk packaged. It didn't work.
Thought it was time for an upgrade, so I got an H720. What a cheap piece of junk. (This one was also bulk packaged).
Settled for an H730 because new, retail H710's were not to be found. Even though it is not supposed to be compatible with my phone, it does everything I need, quite well. Voice recognition works well, the sound quality is good. Sometimes I have to press the activate button twice, if the phone has not been used for a while. Also, if I use the activate button to return to a call from a second call-waiting, it may drop the connection. I have gotten used to switching calls on the phone keypad. Also, these small headsets don't take well to profuse sweat. The signal strength gets weak when it's damp, but returns to normal after it dries out. And the signal is a bit noisy if I keep the phone in my pocket, but I think that's an issue with my phone. Also, it takes a little getting used to in regard to it being worn securely, yet comfortably. Adjusting it too tightly causes the ear to ache after prolonged use, too loose and it falls off.
I tried a bulk packaged H730, first. But the dealer sold me a used POS that someone else had returned. It still had hair gel on it!! I have never had a good experience with bulk packaged headsets, ever. Do yourself a favor.. Buy it retail packaged and you won't be disappointed!

I love this headset! I returned 2 headsets before trying this one. The sound is so clear that that no one even knows I'm using a headset. I also love how you only have to open it to turn it on. So easy!

I bought this Bluetooth headset as a replacement for my Motorola H710. The H710 was an amazing headset as well except for the silicone/plastic over the ear piece...It starting coming apart after just 7 months of use and I had to order a replacement for it. Then about a week later the headset itself finally died :( Aside from the ear piece issue it was by far the best I have ever owned. So I saw the H730 and it is almost identical to the H710 except for the extra mic at the rear of the unit,the capability to connect to two different phones at the same time thus eliminating the need for 2 headsets and the addition of a voice assist that walks you through the pairing process, tells you which phones you are connected to and also tells you the battery level of the headset. It seems well made and more sturdy than the H710. I use my phone for my home based PC repair business as well as personal use and average about 4800 voice minutes a month...this little wonder goes about 2 to 3 days on one charge even with that high usage. Motorola makes a great Bluetooth line...it's their cell phones I would stay away from!!!
